John
Charles wurde 1837 geboren als Sohn des Johann Charles Stahlschmidt und
Sarah Lett, London. Er starb 1889 in Wandsworth, London. Er wurde
bekannt u.a. durch seine genauen Beschreibungen der diversen
Kirchturmglocken
in Kent (wie beispielsweise derer von St. Mary the Virgin, Elham) oder
St. John the Baptist, Doddington.
